It's outside of the warranty period. No I'm not buying in the US. I can't buy RX 480 because it's out of my budget. I use 720p for desktop resolution because it looks good for my eyes. Do I really need to change my monitor? Isn't S22B350 display 1080p too?

I'd sell the game for $20 and walk away with a rx480 8gb for under $190.

No I saw that, but I was saying the 470 is a much better bang/buck. Its $140 + game vs $210 + game or $70 (50% more money) for 15% performance gain. If he just saved that money he could rebuy a new card in half the time.

However he just said he isn't US based so it doesn't matter.

Yes, but any gpu would. Getting the lowest end gpu just for "low power" isn't really the best idea for a long term gpu.

Unless you purely plan on playing overwatch, and mobas and relatively low settings which I suspect. In that case go ahead.

Do I need to have a good cooling solution since RX 470 generate more heat? My case is CM K280 and I have 1 rear fan, Intel stock cooler for i5-3470. For power supply, can S12II-620W run it?

Regardless of what card you get you should get a 120mm front fan. They are usually under $10. Just make sure to buy one that has good reviews for being quiet. Yes that Seasonic should have no issues at all running it
 
I play esports titles mostly and I want to reduce my budget. Which one to buy? RX 460 2GB or GTX 1050? 75Hz Freesync or 144Hz Gsync monitor?

I think we're getting trolled now. No offense erik8ant but you've been generously provided enough guidance from the forum members here WRT which card to buy. I recommend starting a new thread instead of continually changing the goal posts.
 
I'd say the 8GB 1330 MHz PowerColor Red Devil RX480 for $200 AR is an excellent deal. Certainly better than any 1060 you can find while being just as fast. And it has more VRAM than any 1060. I have that exact same card in my computer and I'm totally satisfied with it. Triple fan cooler is nice and quiet. Just be sure your case has enough room to fit it.

Just in case you are serious, let me set you straight. Those cards are slower than the GTX 670 in many games.

As madpacket said, there is plenty of info here already. Reread the thread. Buy the best card you can afford in this order:
RX 480 8GB / GTX 1060 6GB (either one)
RX 480 4GB
RX 470 4GB / GTX 1060 3GB (either one though I personally would go 470 4GB)

A RX 470 uses less power / watts than a GTX 670. Forget any power concerns. And a 1050 Ti is too small of an upgrade from a 670, in my opinion.

If you want to buy a monitor and card with the same budget then you simply cannot improve performance, and will have to go monitor only. Just 1080p your current one if you want a new GPU. One or the other - not both with your budget. And I'd recommend starting another thread if you want the monitor.

Agreed with the others but just wanted to point out that these are basically complete opposites. You can find tons of 60-144hz Freesync monitors, and a 144hz GSync will cost you at least $400-500 depending on your country.
 
Sorry I'm not a tech savvy guy. Ok I change my graphics card instead of monitor due to limited budget. If I don't change my monitor then I just have to bear with screen tearing with Vsync off when playing Overwatch and other first person shooter games for higher FPS. So RX 470 4GB is the way to go? MSI or Gigabyte?

For games like CS:GO or Overwatch, having max FPS is a must over screen tearing, as the higher FPS the faster the simulation time. But yes if you want to get rid of screen tearing you can get a 144hz freesync monitor to go with a 470. Whichever is cheaper quality wise they are very similar.
 
I'm stuck in choosing between GTX 1050 Ti and RX 470 4GB. If I want to save electricity bill, isn't GTX 1050 Ti a better choice since Nvidia GPU consume less power than AMD GPU therefore less heat and less noise right?

There is no dilemma . Power savings are not going to be huge even if you plan on gaming 2-3 hours a day. Performance wise Rx 470 is in a different league altogether when compared with GTX 1050 Ti. 50 - 60% faster than GTX 1050 Ti .

The Rx 470 is a gem at sub USD 150 prices including rebates. faster than GTX 970 at less than half the GTX 970 launch price. This is the generational leap which a GPU should bring. MSI Rx 470 Armor for USD 160 (USD 130 after rebates).

I don’t think they are that far apart on average if you include many other games, but you’re right that they are not comparable cards in performance. The 470 is clearly faster by a significant and noticeable amount. If you can afford both, which you obviously can, and if your current PSU can handle it, which it obviously can (670) then there is no need to consider the 1050 Ti unless you are heavily tethered to some Nvidia eco system thing, which does not seem to be the case.

And even if you were mining 24/7, the RX470 would still be the better choice because AMD cards have the best perf/W for most mining applications.

RX 470 is better in every respect versus his current GTX 670. He will get much better FPS while still using less electricity than he is now. And unlike the GTX 1050 Ti, the RX 470 is actually a significant upgrade over his GTX 670.
 
Oh, I agree. I was just mentioning that using electricity costs as a reason to get one card over another is usually a moot point. It's such a small difference for the time that you're actually gaming that it's worthless to consider.
