What graphic card setup do you think would be the best for me?

If I got 1 7800GT I would like to play HL2 (or HL2 based games, CSS for example) at 8xTSAA, 16xAF, all high details (for HL2 cinematic details), at 1280x1024 (I have a Samsung 730B). If i got 2 I would play with all at the same, but with 16xSLITSAA. What do you think I should try to get? 1 or 2? or maybe 1 and a better monitor?

I am selling some of my old stuff to try to get enough money to get a 7800GT. Should I try to sell even more to get enough for a second?
 
get 2 AND a better monitor 😛

HL2 and hl2 based games arent that demanding of your graphics card so SLI shouldnt be neccesary. though, you can never be too sure.
