What glue to use on plastic case parts?

The plastic front of an InWin case has a cover (1 X 4 inch) in the opening for a floppy disc drive. I won't be using a floppy, but want to attach something to the back of this cover. I tried an epoxy cement, but it doesn't stick.

Anyone know of a cement that sticks to this plastic? Thanks.

Take some 400 grit paper to rough up the inside surfaces, then try a bit of super glue gel (that stuff works great for me, anyway). Make sure you attatch the items very quickly after putting the super glue gel on, as super glue is activated by air and forms a skin extremely quickly.

Yeah, gel super glue or hot glue as mentioned above if you might want to be able to remove the glued-on part. I have a dual-heat glue gun - anything layed down at the low temp will peel off easily and won't damage the plastic. I'd practice on a surface of the same plastic that won't be visible and see what happens at the different temps. And roughing up the surface a bit (also mentioned above) will almost always aid adhesion.

also melts plastic at the surface to make it prerough and bond better.

So i dont think you really need to sand it.

Were talking about cyno acrylic right? crazy glue?

I use "Plummers Goop" frequently, clear, sticks like crazy to any material and in most instances can be removed cleanly after. I like it for 40mm fans, tacking wire and holding switches in place. Many of the places hot glue is normally used.
