OK< here's a dumb question.
Why will my Vibrant not connect to any of my computers using 1 specific usb cable? I get the "dink" sound like it is connected, and it charges, but I don't get the option for selecting KEIS, Media or Mass Storage. It shows that it is charging though.
I tried on A SB machine (H67), 1 AMD desktop, 2 AMD laptops, and an Intel c2d laptop running Ubuntu and all had the same issue.
I chalked it up to a bad USB cable, but my GF said she had just used it to transfer music to her phone. She plugged it in and it worked fine.
Think my phone software was borked, I flashed to the stock ROM and had the same problem.
I then realized I had my BB cable out in the car, so I got it and tried and it worked fine.
Are not all USB cables pinned the same or something? I know the Nook Color USB cable is different, but are LG branded cables different too?
