I have the following components up and running
Asus A8v rev2
A64 3200+ (.90)
1gig dual channel OCZ 3200 EL plat rev2
Antec 380 true power
BFG 6800 gt @ ultra speed w/ artic cooler
120 gig WD hd (7200 8 mg)
dvd burner
dvd
on board sound and lan
at stock settings I get better performance than when OCd to 2500. For example at stock I get 62000 at aquamark, when clocked to 2300 I get 58000, it does goto 63900 at 2500 thou.
I leave the ram ar 1:1 2 2 2 5 even when clocked 9.5x264 and at 1.6 volts is very stable in prime 95 tortue, temp goes to 120F
Is thisjust a screwy benchmark? or am I missing something, I do however get similar results in 3dmark 03.
I keep thinking its my PS, but I did swap it out for a 430 antec PS, same deals-- I do have a 550 antec true power on my christmas list thou
Any ways, any of you overclockin gurus out there have any insight on this, Id be appreciative
