16 and Pregnant/Teen Mom. Originally watched an episode when my wife was pregnant. Wow. These girls have no idea. And their boyfriends are all fuckups. Probably one of the best reality comedies on TV currently.

I don't watch girly shows, though I am often unfortunate enough to be trapped in the same room with my wife when she is watching some REALLY awful ones.

Meh...I get up and nef when that happens.

She refuses to watch sci-fi and war movies...I refuse to watch "girl shows."
We either compromise, or one of us gets on the computer and lets the other one watch what they want...
Look at my post count...see who wins in our house. :p

Sometimes I'm laying in bed and she is watching TV. I turn over and cover my ears. :D

Fuck that. I put my foot down...NO TV in the gawddamned bedroom.

You're not the first person I've come across that draws a line with a TV in the bedroom.

Why?

I'm curious is all, my wife and I have a tv in the bedroom and my son does. Don't know what the problem would be.

I've watched a bit of True Blood thanks to the GF. It's not that bad, but then again, it's not that good either. It's far better than that Twilight trash though. GF and I couldn't finish the first film, and she was the one that got up and turned it off lol.

At least True Blood has some nudity, so you can at least be interested in some of it. :p

I watched Gilmore Girls and Felicity. Not sure why I watched Felicity, I guess because of the SO, but I thought the writing on Gilmore Girls was pretty darn good and I liked the show quite a bit.

Now there are none that I watch, aside from cooking shows, but I don't really count those.

I randomly found Army Wives on Netflix and got hooked. My wife hasn't even watched a single episode.

The bedroom is for sleeping. TV creates a distraction that interferes with good sleep patterns. It takes a little while to re-train your body, but now a few years after I removed the TV (and other distractions) from my bedroom I fall asleep almost as soon as I get in bed, every time. My body simply knows that going to bed = going to sleep.
