What gift to bring back from Washington DC?

trmiv

I'm in Washington DC on business this week, and I want to bring a gift for a special someone (yes, a girl). I'm not exactly sure what to get though. I want to get something nice, but that isn't something you can just get any place I guess. Something that is uniquely DC or says DC. Any ideas? Thanks.

The National Gallary of Art has a very nice gift shop on the lower level. I'm sure you'll be able to find something unique there (small print that could be framed later, National Gallery of Art address book, etc.)

I'm sure you've probably seen all the street vendors that line up along Constitution Avenue selling their cheap T-Shirts. As you've indicated, it doesn't look like you care to purchase anything from them - and with good reason. I'd seriously give the gift shop that I advised a visit. It's quite large and they have a great selection of neat things.

Washington Capitals stuff... anything will do! Oh wait, that's for me... hmm... is she a hockey fan? Is she convert-able ? If so, you've got yourself a winner!

go somewhere downtown.. maybe east of Central Ave... get a few gunshots in your passenger door.. and take that back to her! 😉
That'll be D.C. specific

You should get a piece of the wall.... What wall? It doesn't really matter, but if you tell people that you got a piece of the wall from D.C., that just seems funny to me for some reason. 😀
