I thought it was daft punk but that is a group not a genre.
Its techno beats with male or female voices singing. The voices sound electronic, so don't say rap.

This is sort of off the wall, but in a roundabout way this thread introduced me to this, Gregorian chant versions modern classics.

I recommend giving With Or Without You a listen. It's interesting...

Yup. These guys are actually pretty good at this.

Pretty vague, vocal trance would be my guess judging by people's confusion between techno and trance. You did say that it is 'techno beats', if it's techno beats then it's not trance, in which case I don't know what the hell it can be. Vocal techno?
