hello,

I'm currently owning a geforce2 (gainward golden sample yadda yadda), but i'm noticing that the card has 'had it's time' in certain games (morrowind is one of them).

So i wanna get me a new one. Preferably with 2 monitor support (since i've got 2 monitors and i'm using 2 cards right now).

I've seen that the ti4400 is a good buy, but the 4600 also sounds nice.

Especially the MSI versions are cheap to get. Any advise on this?

thx

DK

I'd go with the GeForce4: TI4400. You'll save a hundred bucks or more and you can overclock the card to TI4600 levels from what I've seen.

The MSI you mentioned is a good buy as it outpaced all other GeForce4:TI4400 cards out there. For a second choice I'd go with the Leadtek Winfast GeForce4:TI4400. Either card rocks!

As i'm not really familiar with this overclocking stuff: does it happen only when the driver is loaded? or can u use an utility to 'fix' this in the bios of the card...

Since i use linux more often than i do windows, it owuld be a shame to not-have the performance of the card in the os.

Any good reads on this subject, btw?

Another question

is the Creative Labs Blaster 4 Titianium 4400 a good buy (I can get it the same price i can get the MSI) or should I stick with the MSI?
