Was playing Dead Space Remake and it was performing like complete crap on my RX 6700 XT despite having a decent cpu (i5-12400F) and was wondering why it wasn't running anywhere close to published benchmarks for my hardware. Then remembered I had turned Resizable BAR off in my BIOS months ago because The Last of Us, Part 1 ran like I was gaming on an RX 580 or something with it turned on but then it ran great with Resizable BAR off. So figured it might be helpful to compile a list of games that have a significant preference for one or the other so we might know when to turn it on or off before starting a game so as to not waste time trying to troubleshoot performance. I'll start with:
- The Last of Us Part 1 -- OFF (very unsteady framerate with huge drops with it on)
- Dead Space Remake -- ON (stutters horribly with it off)
