What games did you play this weekend?

Just one game. Resident Evil 4. And what a weekend. It's been such a long time since I played a game that was so addicting and extremely fun to play! No wonder it got such high scores from reviewers out there.

War, CoN was buggy?? Umm... I played through it once and I didnt run into any problems at all. Damn fun game, I'd probably play it through again if it wasnt for all the other stupid games I wanna play.

Anyways, I only played some of Vampire this weekend, didnt have any other time to. I did get to lose $100 at Mohegan Sun though. That was sure fun losing that money... wait, no. I got irritated when I was up about $40 at the craps table, then three rollers in a row did the same thing to me and made me lose my winning and the rest of my buy in cash. good stuff!

okokok...I've heard some several people now about this game. Is it really that much fun? Do tell! Whats it like?

In four words? Grand Theft North Korea. :evil:

Literally jack anything. I was being harassed by a chopper, so I took cover under a tree. Went to dash out and hit it with some machinegun fire, hit the Reload/Action button ... and proceeded to vault up the tree, into the cockpit of the heli, and knock the pilot the fvck out. :Q Then I took it for a very short trip before I saw the "AA Launch" warning and bailed. Then switched to my RPG and blew the AA truck to hell. Which pissed off the troops near it, who piled into an APC and came rolling over at full steam hell-bent on kicking my ass - but they ran into a small miscalculation along the lines of a half-dozen laser guided bombs that I radioed back to HQ to drop on them.

So, uh, yeah. Fun as hell.

Hrm, does sound interesting indeed. I just took a look at some screens
here. Looks like it needs some help in the gfx dept?

Yeah, it's got some issues with blurry textures, even on the Xbox version. Particle effects are very nice though ... especially when that truck you just blew up with a C4 satchel goes spiralling by your head in an ass-over-teakettle roll that would make a Ford Explorer proud.

Those are crappy PS2 scans...
the Xboix version is sharp and clean....
and really uses the chipset...
very good game...
