can anybody tell me what games have you played in your Win2K

i am thinking of installing Win2K and I would like to know how compatible is Win2K for games.

I am running ME now and I heard that Win2K is more stable and better than Win ME

i play games a lot especially CS, NFS and mostly first person games and racing games

anyone can tell me should I switch to Win2K or stay with ME

i just don't feel like having dual boots.

i hate to switch back and forth just for gaming

You can play *almost every game that you can play in 98/ME.

As far as I know there are only a handful of games that won't run in Win2K, I can't even think of any from the top of my head. I've played UT, CS, NFS5, many many others.

I've had ton's of trouble with the entire Rollercoaster Tycoon series. All 3 of them don't work. Also, problems with Incoming (old game but still great!)

From my experience, some games may have a performance drop in Win2K which can be ranging from slight drops in fps to extreme. Games that I have played in Win2K include Unreal Tournament, Deus Ex, Quake 3, Baldur's Gate II, Icewind Dale, Delta Force 3, Rainbow Six series, Need For Speed 3. Most of these games play fine, except Need For Speed which required some "hacking", and in most cases I find that playing these games in Win98 seem to run smoother (e.g. Unreal Tournament, Baldur's Gate II and Rainbow Six).

Almost everything I have tried in 2K is a lot slower. I have yet to find anything that runs better in 2K.
