What games are you looking forward to in 2009?

Since I own a Xbox 360, Wii, and DS, I'm looking forward to the following. Obviously, these are known games as more will be announced later.

360
* Halo Wars (did Ensemble find a control scheme to make an RTS work on a console?)
* Street Fighter IV
* Star Ocean: The Last Hope
* Resident Evil 5
* The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena
* Bionic Commando
* Prototype
* Ghostbusters
* Brutal Legend
* Alan Wake (will it actually come out this year?)
* Forza Motorsport 3

Wii
* Madworld (love the art style)
* The Conduit (can they improve the FPS on the Wii?)
* Ghostbusters (another where I like the art style)

* Wii Sports Resort (want to see how much the WM+ improves things)

DS
Really don't have anything that catches my attention

PS3 (I likely will never have a PS3 now but here's what I'm interested in)
* Killzone 2 (live up to the hype?)

* MAG (can they actually pull off a FPS game with so many players?)
* Gran Turismo 5 (will it make 2009?)
* God of War III (will it make 2009 and live up to the hype?)

A handful of those games won't even be out in 2009.

Alan Wake has me most intrigued, but that won't be out.

Outside of that, Madden 2010 and NCAA 2010, because I'm a sheep.

2009 looks pretty bland, actually. I might buy some 2008 games I skipped over like Banjo-Kazooie and Viva Pinata 2.

Mostly looking forward to catching up on games from 2008 (like Fallout 3), and Killzone 2 because it looks pretty damn impressive. Otherwise I have interest in most of the games listed in the OP.

Scribblenauts for DS definitely deserves a mention (hopefully released in 2009? I believe it still needs a publisher). It's an incredible concept.

RE5 was on that list until I played the demo.

not that bad, just not that great. i was not a big RE4 fan personally due to the way it controlled. re5 is very sluggish, and i'm not big on the whole roided out look.

i dunno, the whole game has turned from survival horror to just an action game it seems. when I think back to RE1 you got scared and kinda freaked everytime you saw a zombie or creature, because they were scarce and the ammo was so limited. i also enjoyed the puzzle aspects of the older RE games.

in re5 you have more zombies coming at you in 5 seconds than you saw in like 2 hours of gameplay in the old ones. the series just isn't the same.

i'm sure i will play it, but i'm not going to be spending $60 on it for certain.

Yeah I should have specified Arcana Heart 2 is import in April.

I never played any of the Star Oceans but the new one for XBOX looks good and if I like it I'll probably pick up the PSP versions but I have like 15 backlogged RPGs already.

I played Disgaea 2 already. I still play 1 on the PSP and I prefer that and still mess around with it alot.

Aah...I loved RE4, but then again I don't like "survival horror" games. It was creepy enough without being over the top for me.

I agree with you though, I played the RE1 remake, sometimes you're so low on ammo you just run instead of fighting.

I'm a big flight sim fan so Tom Clancy's HAWX and Il-2: Birds of Prey are on my list. Been a while since I've seen any good "realistic" combat sims. The other big one for me is Uncharted 2.
