Before I got world of warcraft, I was just playing hl2, and I haven't payed attention to the pc gaming world in a while. What are you guys playing right now that have great graphics? Throw out a title or two....

LOL - I'm still playing WoW, but when I got a bit tired of it this weekend, I started on HL2. :p

I'm also curious as to what's out there, as both these games are not simple, start-up-and-play-a-bit-type games.

I'm thinking guildwars or city of heros; what is the monthly fee on city of heros?

Anyone know of any good single player rpgs with good graphics? Seems like they don't make many anymore.

I'm still waiting on a few games to come out, GTA SA, stalker, COD2. I just smoke a bowl and go back and play through older games, like GTA3, Far Cry, something that I haven't played in a while. That and my daily fix of TFC online, I have been addicted to that game for years.

I'm not tired of WoW yet but other games I like to play are Farcry, Starcraft, NWN, Icewind Dale, Fallout 1 & 2, and AOE.

I'm playing Farcry and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Both have great graphics and great gameplay.

Playing guildwars.. its alot of fun tho leveling up is pretty easy... made it to lv 20 in 8-9 days of casual play. Still fun tho, and im looking forward to finishing up the main story and sub quests

Yeah I think the easiest method is to snipe or use the mp5, hope they don't see you. The choppers get me so often though :(

With wow my enthusiasm has dampened since I've seen it on my new rig, and the graphics are pretty underwhelming. I know graphics aren't everything....but why make so many zones that are all dark and dreary (like darkshore, duskwood, anywhere undead are) and so many with 'fog' in the distance even at max distance setting (westfall, anywhere elves are). The only places that really look good to me are the barrens and the tauren zone....another problem is i basically only play at night now, and the game looks 1/10th as good at night for some reason. It's a great game, but i just find myself not wanting to play it anymore.

World of Warcraft ;)

the mad rush from level 36-40 where I played nearly nonstop for an entire weekend kinda burned me out, though. I think I'm going to take a week off from my main and maybe play an alt or finish off Xenosaga 2, which I got halfway through and then dropped for WoW.

Hmm, I was going to mention that M*U*L*E* on a C64 emulator (or Atari 800 emulator) is still one of my favorites, but you're looking for great graphics. The 8-bit games barely had graphics, the big thing they had going for them was being fun to play.

I'm taking a WoW break and playing CS:S, WC3:FT, Black and White, C&C Generals, System Shock 2, and Far Cry.
