I guess I was seriously craving a round of creepy games for the New Year!

😛

So, what about you guys?

EVE Online...

I have like 200 more games on steam that I bought.. but I never find the time to play them. The last game I was playing was Fallout New Vegas + Expansions.

I just got Deus EX HR during that 10$ Amazon sale. It is just ok so far. It feels very linear.

A month ago I got Fallout 3 NV and a few expansion packs. I am having a lot of fun with this one- this is even better and more challenging than FO3. FO3 was a bit too easy in my opinion.

Just got a new monitor so I opened up steam and loaded Bioshock. First time playing it although I bought it a long time ago.

Have about 70 hours into Oblivion but am having some issues where certain inventory items will crash the game if I a.) drop them b.) put them into a storage container c.) undon them. I've narrowed it down to the unique items. I can do player.additem and .removeitem to 'fix' them for a little while, but they ultimately fail after a while. Sometimes, I can't even enter areas (such as the West Wing of Cloud Tower) while carrying these items - the game immediately crashes. It's frustrating enough that I've pushed it aside for Grand Theft Auto IV.

Just got a racing wheel and grabbed F1 2011 during the Steam Sale. I LOVE racing games and this is one of the better I've played. Now that I have a wheel, racing a 58 lap race isn't a chore. Really a lot of fun.

Other games I've gone back to: Far Cry 2, Assassin's Creed, Frozen Synapse, Terraria.

Just finished Saints Row the Third with 100% completion. Going to start Alien vs Predator 2010 soon, been playing MW3 in the interim.

BF3 and BC2 i may try out MW3 soon for some variety will more then likely give up BC2 when i hit rank 50.

Might purchase Bioshock and Bioshock 2 i never finished the original Bioshock cause UT3 grabbed my attention.

Big sucker for unreal based games .

Skyrim
DoW1 Soulstorm
DoW2 Retribution
Angry Birds
TF2
Allods Online
Champions Online

That's pretty much about it, at least since the past month or two. I'm going through some sort of a down gaming-wise lately though, I can't seem to be able to care much about... well about almost any new releases (except for Skyrim which was a day one purchase). I should also mention that I completely skipped this year's Steam Holidays Sale (well... rather last year's by now, but still going now anyway), and I don't think that I'm going to buy anything, pretty sad when I think about it but then again I honestly can't care much about gaming in general.

I bought Skyrim mainly to help me burn through the time necessary to wait for Mass Effect 3, which itself will probably be one of the few select games that I'm going to buy this year.

BF3

Crysis / Wars

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3

Plan to start Deus Ex HR as soon as it gets done downloading.

I was kind of disappointed with Dead Space 2 so I've dropped it for the time being.

Actively - Skyrim. What a fantastic game and with just a few mods, it's absolutely riveting visually (and the story is damn great as well).

Slowly working through:
Assassin's Creed
Mass Effect 2
Stalker
GTA 4 - 30 hours in and really quite bored
Morrowind
New Vegas
Bioshock 2
Vampire - Masquerades
FarCry 2

Ugh, and many more. I have a hard time not playing though games even if I don't like them. I figure even if they cost $40 I only need to put a few hours in for them to pay for themselves.

I've been eyeing them on Steam but I don't think my gtx580 can hack it. How is yours keeping up?
I run them through OpenGL source ports. Heretic runs outstandingly, Quake 2 runs slowish compared to ATi’s boards, while Hexen has severe performance drops when there’s a lot of 3D models on screen. Hexen 2 seems to run okay but I have no point of reference to compare it to.

I’m sure nVidia’s woeful OpenGL drivers for their Fermi architecture are responsible. They often struggle with elementary rasterization tasks in trivial OpenGL scenes.

BF3
Batman: AC
Skyrim
Terraria
EVE (skills only 🙂

Haven't missed this much sleep since my hardcore EVE days... alarm clock POS takedowns 4TL

GTA 4 - 30 hours in and really quite bored

I have 60 in still having fun. I don't play it religiously though. I cruise around looking for stunt jumps, pigeons to shoot, the one-off missions on the side of the road... It's just fun to explore the city and admire what Rockstar did. The level of detail in their world is astounding. Listen to people talk to each other, watch TV, the radio stations... If Bethesda could do what Rockstar did, they'd own the RPG market.

For PC only? Bastion.

Waiting on a few deals on Steam - none of which hit major deals during this past sale period. I got HL2 Ep2 but beat it rather quickly so I'm not working on it anymore. Awesome ending, hope their next release touches on it.

But if you cross into consoles, I'm working on:

Uncharted 2
Zelda: Minish Cap
Zelda: The Wind Waker
Zelda: Majoras Mask
Zelda: A Link to the Past
Super Mario Galaxy 2

I cleared out most of my PC backlog (some were replays) recently (aside from Bastion), including:

HL1
HL1 Blue Shift
HL1 Opposing Force
HL2
HL2 Ep1
HL2 Ep2
Max Payne
Max Payne 2
Torchlight

I just recently got into buying through Steam so luckily not much of a library - yet. I technically haven't started Majora's Mask but its on my list - the other Zelda games I've officially started. I will most likely work on Link's Awakening and Link - Ages, but those are an after thought. I decided to do the Zelda series since I beat Skyward Sword and was not impressed and heard good things about Wind Waker and Minish cap.

now that the steam sale is over, i've got a bit more on my plate but mainly playing:

-sc2
-section8😛rejudice
-bastion
-recettear

and perhaps some of the awsm indie games i have on the side
