i played it a couple years ago

you are in some type of motorcycle that shoots a lazer behind you and to win, you are supposed to trap your enemy within a box that you made with out touching his lazer

Do you have any clue what i am talking about?
 
Well you're talking about Tron, and not only was there an official Tron 2.0 PC game a short while back, but I seem to recall over the years people have put out dozens of copycat games that did pretty much the same thing.
Most were freeware, some were shareware.
