What gains (fps wise) going from DDR3200 to DDR4000?

Currently running a P4 2.8 @ 3.5 (250fsb) with a 5/4 divider so the ram is running at 200Mhz (2,2,5,2) . What frames-per-second gains should I expect to get in Half Life 2, Doom 3, etc if I go 1/1 divider and get ram that runs at 250Mhz (with tight and loose timings)? Thanks.

minimal... I would recommend you spend that money thats burning a hole in your pocket on one of the latest and greatest video cards if you want better fps in HL2

It will give u a boost, but not worth your money. Maybe 5%, up to 10% at most. Your video card is good enough, and your processor is also quite good enough for any game. Your system is actually quite ballanced and well off. Maybe u can get some sort of water cooling system to oc your video card/proc more. I think that would be more worth it then getting async memory to go with your system.

Thanks for the responses guys. Guess I'll save the $50 or so it would have cost me to upgrade for something else.
