what FSB speed does the EPOX 8K7A support?

I bought all my parts to my system and I bought a 1.4 GHZ T-Bird 266 FSB speed.

ok it says that it supports 200/266MHz Front Side Bus that means that I will be able to use the full FSB speed on my processor since it 266 am I correct?

correct... btw, don't forget to set the JCLK1 jumper to the 133Mhz setting.... default is 100mhz

ok sweet!. Thank for reminding me also do all those cables for example to connect the hard drive the DVD rom come with the motherboard? or how does it work?

With the Mobo you'll get 1 ATA/66/100 cable for your HDD's, 1 ATA/33 cable for other devices, and 1 floppy cable.

The new beta bios supports up to 250FSB..thhough I don't think any current DDR will get anywhere near that...

NO, the board does not come with antistatic STRAP, you have to get it yourself. I don't use one, and I've never killed anything with static.

Actually, the newest beta bios, 1607, has settings from 100-250mhz DDR...:)


Now..if only there was DDR that would go that fast...
