What fragrances do you find objectionable?

Most of us have at least one cologne/perfume smell that makes our eyes water and not in a good way. For some it's patchouli, for others it's the overpowering 'old-lady strawberry mothballs" perfume they encounter on a crowded bus.

The worst for me is that nutty/cocoa-smell fragrance preferred around the Mediterranean. Sometimes comes with rancid olive oil massaged in the hair, a combo that almost makes me puke on some taxi drivers in Ottawa.:disgust:

Any of those Bath and Body Works friggin skin lotions that my girlfriend always insists on lathering up with as soon as we get in the close confines of any car. I don't know what it is wth her, but as soon as we get in the car, she whips that crap out and starts moisturizing. The smell is just overpowering in such a tight space and there's no escape. Since it's January, I sure won't be rolling down the windows.

While i was at college i noticed that female yank exchange students in the vast majority fell into the 'use so much perfume it smells like you bathed in it' category.

As has been noted before, pretty much any perfume becomes obnoxious when used in overpowering quantities...

all womens perfumes stink in my opinion. the only fragrance that i like and is a huge turn on is vanilla extract.

Most fruit scents, I especially hate those ones that are in aresol cans and have that sharp, instant headache-inducing smell... HUGE turn off if a girl wears it.
