What food should I eat in Chicago?

Already been to Portillo's and Giordano's from a previous trip, and am planning to go to Superdawg and Lou Malnati's this time.

But other than pizza and hotdogs, are there any other foods that Chicago is uniquely capable in?

Go to Gino's East instead of Lou Malnati's. I was there a few weeks ago and tried both, Gino's was better. Just my opinion of course.🙂

if you are there with your S.O. (if you have one) go to the restaurant at the Chicago Art Institute's culinary school. It is a great experience and you get gourmet food pretty reasonably

I have been to Chicago once in my life which was about three weeks ago. I tried Superdawg's but I like Poochi's better. I was taken to a all you can eat Polish restaurant which I thought was great and was not too far from Superdawg(same street). First time I tried Schnitzel and I really enjoyed it.

Polish or German restaurants FTW. But really, there isn't any reason why you need to hit anything other than pizza and Chicago dog joints. Seriously, there's Lou Manalti's (my favorite), Gino's, Chicago Pizza and Grinder Factory, Giordano's ..... MMmmmmmm...
