Stuffed pizza here, my grandparents area is known for their cheese, to be even more specific, Door County cheese curds ... mmmmm cheese curds.

I've suffered food poisoning from philly cheese steaks three times. I'm never eating one again. I've also never suffered poisoning from any other food before either.

Well Pizza and Bagels were mentioned when it comes to NY food. Don't forget Nathan's Hot Dog at Coney Island!

As for NY Pizza..its all about the brick oven ones. There is a place in Brooklyn that I tried years ago but forgot what it was called.. Tostonno's?? something like that anyways.

Last time I checked Pastrami sandwiches are still popular in NYC (like the 2nd Ave Deli Pastrami sandwiches).

Bellingham, WA.

Seafood of any kind usually (indigenous anyway). Cod, Salmon, Crab, Oysters, Clams, Shrimp, even Squid and Octopus. Some of my favorite restaraunts prepare primarily seafood dishes (always fresh too).

irmo, south carolina.. I guess I'm gonna have to go with okra 😛

if you'll let me claim the state instead of the town, I'll switch to she crab soup and shrimp-n-grits. 🙂

I don't think there really is any famous food specific to columbia.. unless you go with maurice's bbq, which is more infamous really..

anno
