What folder do I put codecs in?

I just downloaded the xvid codecs, when I extracted them I got an xvidcore-1.1.0-beta2 folder. There's lots of folders within that one. What do I do now? There isn't an .exe in the folder.

Thanks

You most likely downloaded the source code for the latest xvid beta codec. That you'd need to compile yourself.

Instead, go here and download the latest "binary", stable for stable binaries, and "unstable" for the latest beta.

I'd just download the Xvid-1.0.3-20122004.exe file from that website.

I got FFDShow, but DVDSanta said to make sure I have xvid codecs so I thought I download those and during the installation it would notify me if I already had the codecs.
I have your site bookmarked, FlyingPenguin.

Thanks.
