HF 1.5ton low profile. while i'm an HF skeptic, my brother has used it with great success. also, a jack pad is worth every penny.

One of the low profile craftsman ones. Mine is like 12 years old and good as new.

OTC 80th anniversary aluminum racing jack.

It has been quite well through cars, SUV's, trucks.

As long as a jack doesn't come back down I'm good.

I see a few mention SUV jacks. Would these SUV jacks work for trucks too? I've been thinking about getting one, we have an SUV and a truck. Any difference or will they work the same?

You will need to buy a heavier duty one, look for one that is specifically for trucks/SUV's. I believe Craftsman from Sears are great.

use them around the farm and for my cars. first one the seals failed and would not lift. second one got weak and then the frame got all twisted.
The frame twisted on mines as well. I'm using that jack as a 2nd/backup jack now.
