I cannot get the Odyssey to default to seat setup memory one when I get in no matter how hard I try. Fine, so I give up and set my preferences to 2. Today I see the back of my key has Driver 2 written on it and it finally dawned on me.

I get aldi refrigerated eggrolls every so often. They're alright. Probably halfway between frozen, and buying from a carryout.

I am lined up at the car wash and there is this car that is spotless lined up before me. Rest of the cars all have some degree of dirt but this one is spotless. Why is he even getting a car wash?

Don't you love it when the end of an article about the threat of a new pandemic from the Alabama virus found in shrews goes, "If you liked this article"...

The USPS continues to just not deliver things on time and can't keep track of them. I wish more companies offered the ability to pay more to use someone else.

It's aggravating how often they deliver packages late these days. Sometimes even 3-4 days after the delivery date.

I don't mind if it takes a while, just stop telling me you're going to deliver it on a certain day, send me a notice about on that day, and then just kind of quietly drop the whole thing. Two days later I check and it's "in transit to...." and then two days after that it randomly shows up.

They all do this to some extent, which is crazy because it implies that even they don't know where things are.

I wonder if it's area dependent? USPS is always pretty good for me. Their delivery accuracy is questionable, but it always seems to be in my favor. I get an estimate, and it shortens as the time approaches.

It's a very common thread in the St Louis Reddit. Someone posted this in April. It's page 2. Wow, AT forums didn't like that image, I guess. USPS.jpg

All our USPS carrier work for a contract carrier and get paid just over minimum wage...mail gets mis-delivered fairly often. Packages end up across town...IF you're lucky enough that they get delivered to some honest person who gets them to you. BUT, of course, "That wasn't our fault" sez the post office.

For a while deliveries here were all messed up but it's gotten better. Had a few small packages and they all came in within reasonable time, and at the right house! They use a company called Dragonfly now for the local part of deliveries. The company before that were bad, constantly getting the wrong house, or not even delivering when the tracking said it was delivered etc.

It's still "in transit". It's water sensitive, so hopefully they do their normal thing of just throwing it out in the open during the storm next week rather than taking the time to put it under my porch.

New one - I got my online class completely working on Linux, bought a webcam, life is good. The exam software requires Honorlock and I have to scan my room and such. Fine.

Fire it up in Firefox, you need Chrome. Fine.
Open it in Chrome, you need to install this very obnoxious and privacy-obliterating extension. Fine.
Fire *that* up, you need Windows 10 or some macOS version. Not Windows 11, but Windows 10. Not fine. Pretty frickin far from fine... :p

Get your stuff, ancient laptop that can barely actually manage to display an image, you're getting called up to the majors.
