Somehow a ton of water managed to be applied to my last water bill. It stands at 898 dollars, which is about 868 dollars more than my normal bill.
I considered the possibilities: Neighbors stealing from my hose, bad meter, leaking under the foundation.

If the neighbors had been stealing, they did a magnificent job of returning my hose to exact same position many many times in a row.
If theres a bad meter the water company is refusing to acknowledge it. So thats a pointless trail to follow.
If I got water eroding my foundation I am screwed, so I'll probably have to kill myself.

If you turn the water off at the meter, and know nothing is drawing water in the house, the water meter should not be moving.

I did shut off all water usage. The guy checked and said the meter was not moving.
So how the fuck did tens of thousands of gallons just disappear?

you didn't get the pdf emailed to you when you got the second shot? search your mailbox lol. Besides, you only need it to go to eat in at restaurants or gym.

I have those but not sure if that is valid to show, I think you need to download the new one as it will have a QR code at least I think. The whole thing is a mess though, since you still need to show another form of ID on top of it. Why even bother with the vaccine papers at that point, they should be able to determine vaccine status with just your ID.

nope, you just need the pdf from the second shot and a piece of id.

Oh ok if that's the case then yeah I have that somewhere. The instructions have been really unclear as to how the whole thing works so I figured this one was something different. I know Oct 22 we need to download an app so this version is temporary. Not a fan of that at all. Might just use it on my old phone if it works without data. I presume it has to query the government servers when you use it though, unless it's only the scanner at the establishment you're going to that does that.

For the app I think so, question is whether or not it's static. It might change each time so people don't just print it on a piece of paper and defeat the app. But if it uses a locally based algorthm like a soft RSA token should be able to do it without a data plan.
 
Spam call. Spanglish. I don't speak that. Press 1. Guy wanting to sell me a car warranty for my 2024 Ford Focus speaking spanglish (yes, I told him that and I got it early) . He switched to engrish and said I was SOL. Da heck? I really wanted that.
 
Spent the last three hours dealing with Xfinity's router messing with a network AIO scanner that could not reconnect. Resetting the Wifi did the trick. Changed the SSID to what was used before the reset and the printer is seen now. So something got corrupted and make the router block the scanner from the computer.

Cisco, which made it for XFINITY, can make some garbage. The last router was even buggier and would die.
