FUCK OFF!

jyL7Ff0.png

You can shove your buses, bikes, and crosswalks up your ass. Shit's getting old. I wrote before I've been a member here for 14 fucking years. Maybe you can teach your bullshit google ai, a fucking logged in member probably isn't a spammer, or whatever retarded shit you think's gonna happen. Just because a js library exists doesn't mean you have to include it on your site. THIS is what's gonna get me to quit. I can deal with a ui that degrades every couple years, but damned if I'm gonna be trained monkey for google :^S

OMG I hate those. Especially the ones with the images you have to select that SLOWLY fade into place and it keeps asking you for more. Quit with this javascript fancy BS just show me the damn picture already.

I could understand it if I was switching pages at superhuman speed, or creating threads by the second, but I'm just doing what I usually do. Refresh the page, and read threads. Nothing too outrageous, but if they were at all unsure, they could simply READ THE FUCKING SESSION COOKIE and get an idea of who's operating the keyboard :^S

Lol wait is that on this forum that it did that?

I get that a lot on whois.sc when I want to lookup IP ownership info when I'm playing in my firewall. I wish there was a way to sync the entire whois database locally so I can write a little local app for that. I can't imagine that database being that big, a couple TB maybe. Would need a way to be able to sync changes like once a month or something.

Yea, that was here. It's happened before too. What REALLY pissed me off is I'd complete their special little task, get my green check mark, and it would give me a new task. Over, and over, and over again. I thought it might have been firefox's new tracking protection, so I turned that off, and restarted the browser. That got me to the forums, but I'd still get that fucking challenge every so often; ironically, more so clicking this thread with my rage post :^/ When I get the challenge, clicking [back], and clicking a different topic seems to work. Until the next time it does it anyway... That's how you can tell you're on a quality forum. You have to read stuff you didn't want to read so you can read stuff you do want to read :^/

I think I might have fixed it. I turned off js for pretty much everything. Lost some site features, but so far it's nothing I use. Unsurprisingly, the site's quicker to load too.

MOTHER F'ER. I ordered a Surface Pro on Black Friday and it shipped out quickly, like 12 hours later. It was supposed to be delivered today by FedEx. I won't be home so in case it would need a signature or person home (I've gotten FexEx "we're sorry you weren't home" tags before) I opted to pick it up from a FedEx location yesterday morning.

Now today I see the fucking thing won't be delivered until Monday. What in the fuck? It was in Chicago yesterday early morning, 4 hours from me. Now today morning it's in Perrysburg, OH, about 3.5 hours away. WHAT THE HELL?! Why not ship it to me, instead of a goofy ass roundabout way like that? Ugh.

I'm thinking it must be due to these shipping companies being overwealmed because of Black Friday/Cyber Monday/holiday season, because I had other packages that were supposed to be delivered Wednesday and yesterday and they just were delivered this morning. But I'm pissed about the Surface, I wanted to bust that mofo out this weekend. To have it ship so quickly, during a weekend even, and then have FedEx dick around is just frustrating.

(at 0:17, I feel like yelling GDit)

Hate waiting at fast food but, in reality, what can we expect...minimum wage employees are never going to give a shit if the fries are cold.

My ultra cool Legend of Zelda Master Sword umbrella broke because of the wind. Most umbrellas I've had that get blown out can be inverted back in. Nothing to be done when the hinges snap though. :(

Maybe so, but I would expect the Master Sword to have durability enough to hold up against the wind. :p

Wut? PlaySkool 3000 PC or something, 2GB RAM and a 5200RPM drive, what is this, 2001?

Yeah it's ridiculous. I have a server from around 2008 that has 8GB of ram lol. I don't remember what kind of drive is in there, like a 500GB or something it's whatever was in there originally. Had a 8 drive raid array but that got moved to my dedicated storage server. Now days I always use a SSD for OS drive. I don't get why they even sell PCs with less than 8GB of ram and SSD for OS drive now days. I guess because they can nickel and dime you to bump up the specs to something reasonable.

My home automation server's network crapped out again. Every now and then the network just dies, and I have to reboot it. It used to only do it once a year now it seems to be every couple days. :/ Been meaning to transfer that duty to a Raspberry Pi, I might have to do it sooner rather than later.

Not having a KVM console makes this sort of thing super annoying to troubleshoot too. I really need to invest in one but they are so damn expensive for nothing.

Yeah no kidding. I've stopped going to the two local McDonald's cause the food was always cold or lukewarm. Just pathetic, it's not like that where I grew up in the UP of Michigan. Sure I could tell them their food is cold but they're hardly going to change because of me. My opinion anyway. Sucks cause I love McDonald's.

My bitch... my new Surface Pro was just delayed ANOTHER f'ing day in being delivered. Unfuckingbelieveable. I just checked and it actually is in a neighboring city as of this morning (I work there actually) so I don't know why they changed it to Tuesday. Ugh I don't even wanna think about it, just stupid and frustrating.

No they just reopened today after reno and the syatem were not behaving.
Went to Kroger at 4:00 because the boss said so. They just did a big reno and moved half of the store around. At checkout, they have 2 open lanes and 2x6 self checkouts. Half of the self checkout lights are flashing because of some problem or another and the attendants are slow as crap.

Ma's dryer wasn't working right so I go look. It's heating, the drum is turning, the vent is clear....whatever, the belt may be slipping with a load. The timer was busted anyway so picked up a new, very basic, one. Nothing is ever easy. The dryer won't fit through the utility room door. Take the door off they dryer, good to go almost half way in. The exhaust vent if 1/2" too long. Had to take the door off of the utility room. It's in and running so we'll see.

My workstation's OS installation is slowly self destructing itself. My printer randomly stopped working so while trying to troubleshoot that I started by doing updates since it was due, but now those updates broke NFS. I now lost access to all my data. (my data is ok I just can't access it). I think I'm due for a clean install but I so don't feel like going through that right now. It usually takes months before I have stuff working properly the way I want.
