It included fee for ecg tech of 6.60 and ecg prof 4.45 public insurance covered ten bux but I have to submit the rest to private insurance.

My gift from Russia (with love) was delivered to a recipient on the other side of the country, thanks to a addressing snafu on the part of the maker who shipped it. A replacement will be forthcoming, yet the wait drags on another 15 days. :persevere: :angry:

Each one is unique though. And I likely won't be able to pick the replacement. Maybe she'll furnish pics first for my approval, or maybe she'll ship it blind. Blind wedding, FTW? 🙁
 
my car is old and my lock came loose from the door and sunk in it and now my car isnt secure when i close the door. I mean the door stays closed when i drive but I'm not confident a thief would be kept out. Super weak brah...
 
Ordered from Amazon on Black Friday, don't have Prime, but I received the package on Sunday. I had no idea it was out there and found it at 8AM today as I was leaving the house.
 
Havent played Starcraft 2 in a long time.

The bullshit I have to go thru to get playing again is unbelievable. email verification, new password, update battle.net, update the fucking game, new EULA, they wanna talk about my childhood and how I feel about the current global situation, palm reading, make sweet love to a Zerg down by the fire.

Its annoying and stupid, especially for someone who only likes single-player anyway.

I never have this problem. Isn't it wonderful how pirates have zero issues with games but paying customers have to jump through all these hoops?
 
UPS...2 out of 3 boxes on an order showed up on the 19th. The 3rd...The delivery of you package has been rescheduled based on your shipment instructions for the carrier ...wut? Same order and the other 2 made it. So I close my office this AM and go to the center. Give the lady the invoice, she goes off to look, comes back and says that it will be a while because it's blocked in by delivery trucks. Really? Just put my effing box on a truck and send it to my office like you should have done a week ago. "It may be tomorrow." 🙄

No, I wasn't ugly to the lady because it wasn't her fault. I just wasn't my normal pleasant self.🙂 If I have to go back Thursday...😡
 
My health insurer sent out their plan updates brochure for 2019 about a month ago. Prescription prices drive our healthcare costs and insurance decisions. I went through the brochure and not much changed so I checked the premiums against other plans and this plan came out as the best value for 2019. We have to explicitly select a plan every year so I went to do that yesterday. Looking through the detailed plan info I found that my current plan had changed a whole lot but the insurer hadn't thought to mention it in their update brochure. They switched from fixed copays on drugs (after the deducible is met) to covering only 50% of the drug costs (after the deductible is met). This change kills the plan for us. Now I'm building new spreadsheets to determine the least sucky plan for 2019. Single payer can't come soon enough.
 
I just found out we will be getting "upgraded" to windows 10 at work soon. Ugh, seriously? We JUST went through a PC upgrade. First, we got new PCs, and they imaged our old PCs with XP to the "new" PCs. Then we got an in-place upgrade to 7. Then we got new PCs again, twice actually. They keep switching out our PCs for "newer" models but they are always base models with like 2GB of ram and a 5200rpm spindle drive. So each time we have to fight to get more ram, a SSD etc. And each time it's an image. So we have this old image with collected junk from all the other PCs over the years. It's a messy installation.

Now to add insult to injury they want to upgrade us to Windows 10. That is not even an office/productivity OS, no idea why they are even considering it in an office environment. Windows 8 and 10 are basically play toys for tablets and full of ads and spy stuff etc. If I ran a corporation I would not want that near my network. I would stick with Windows 7 for as long as possible and if nothing comes in the pipe line to replace it I would be looking at Linux based corporate offerings like Suse or what not. Half our stuff is running in some sort of VM or Citrix anyway, because it's not compatible with 7, let alone 10 lol.

I don't get what the company is thinking sometimes with these PC life cycle projects, they spend way more money and effort for nothing to achieve no extra productivity.

I'm just glad I'm not IT because I'd be stuck actually doing the upgrades. That's got to be a nightmare.
 
That's good to know, hopefully they'll be smart to go with that. Not a fan of the flat/gray fuzzy text/white background interface though. It's so hard on the eyes. Hopefully they come up with a way to change that. I absolutely hate how win10 looks and how the text is so hard to read. I know there's the black theme, but then that's too black and white text on black is not any better either. I have good near vision so it's not my vision, win10 text is just terrible. It's that new trend of putting gray fuzzy text on white with no borders or anything to separate UI elements. Hate that trend.
 
Was expecting a video card today but despite dashing to the door after I heard a knock, they were already gone. I was just in time to hear the elevator close. They must have gotten off the elevator, knocked and sprinted right back before it shut. What the hell? My mother's birthday is tomorrow and we have plans so I can't be here all day again if they try a second time tomorrow.

UPS, was on the truck 11/19. Returned to facility because of customer instructions. 11/27, I showed up at facility...and I was nice...got the said "trapped" box today.

Just because a js library exists doesn't mean you have to include it on your site. THIS is what's gonna get me to quit. I can deal with a ui that degrades every couple years, but damned if I'm gonna be trained monkey for google :^S
