What first world problem did you have today?

What are you doing? Sounds like you're all over the world. Is it business or pleasure?
Sightseeing and camping, drove from the most southern spot in Canada to the most northern sealed/paved highway in Dawson City, there's another highway called the Dempster that goes a further 800km north to Inuvik, i went about a 100km down it before i had a bad feeling, 400km later and battery issues began.
Sucks, where abouts are you?
Whitehorse, Yukon Territory atm, alternator is toast, thought they fixed it but no go.

At this point why not just leave them up for next year?

That's kinda what I'm thinking too but the idea is to minimize the sunlight they get as it makes them fade. But I think I will retire the C9's soon anyway and go to LED like the rest of humanity. I really like the light the C9's produce and how they melt the snow around them, but at 5w per bulb (or is it 7?) they also put a pretty big dent in the hydro bill lol.

This. Your neighbors already hate you.

kidding, kidding.

They probably hated me a few weeks ago before I mowed my lawn lol. It got like 1 foot high, don't think I've ever had it go that high before. It just kept raining and the days it didn't rain I was working. At least I did contribute to feeding the bees, I had flowers in there that I've never even seen before in a residential setting.

You could move next to lxs. He hates yard work too. 😀

My female hummingbird has been MIA for 3 days and the feeders are untouched. Maybe she's laying eggs. I have no idea if they take a break to lay or not.

Every time I log into my bank, my account is locked and I have to go through the account password reset process. Piss me off. I suppose some twit is out there hammering on the account and locking it.

I offered to do business with you. I was going to send you a small bag of money, you were going to do all the work dealing with the clientele, and send me back a big bag of money. It was a great deal but you ignored it.
How about a do over? Guaranteed return of eleventy billion percent.

Didnt shit when I got out of bed.
Found myself at Staples with the incredible urge to shit.
Unhappily learned the mens room at Staples is a nightmare. Freddy Kruger would loathe shitting in that place.

The AnandTech main site needs an ignore feature. I never use it on the forums but trying to read the insightful comments between the wankers is tiresome. <== Don't just read that sentence, visualize it.

I love the ignore feature on the forums, I've never actually used the ignore feature on a forum before because it still tells you that there is a post being ignored and even the username, so I just get too tempted to click it anyway (I guess it's a self control thing) that and if someone quotes them it shows up anyway.

I have a few people on my ignore here and I never even see them at all, it's like they're not even there. The downside of the quotes being hidden though is that if someone does quote one it looks like they're replying to the person above, it can make things confusing. 😛

Those are neat, but here they got stolen lol. Seriously, theft has been ridiculously bad in my city in the past years, and specific items seem to be targeted. Right now it's children's bikes. Specifically children ones. I guess they're smaller and you can fit more in the back of a van? I don't know. Oddly most of the time they end up being dumped somewhere. I wonder if they are used for drug exchange. Maybe they shove the money/drugs in the handle bars or something and dump it then the person comes and grabs it. Basically to make drug exchange more subtle.

Haha that's great. I wonder if rich people are legit mad in a situation like that, or if they just laugh it off like "haha first world problem, I guess this older model from last year will have to do. ".

FWP for me: It's getting hot in my home office, thermometer in here says 24.4C. Trying to tough it till 5 (peak hydro rates end) before I turn on the AC but I might not make it. 😛 Actually, once I insulate/seal my server room I think that will be better. Server room is right below this room so the heat rises through the floor. Need to build the hvac system for it first. Essentially it will exchange air with basement crawlspace or outside based on temperature.

I got the giant monkey in my browser this morning on Youtube. The monkey with a hard hat and hammer in hand. The thing was enormous and not scaled to fit the viewport.

Bing suggested it indicates error 500 (internal server).
