What is an air dryer alarm?

Machine that keeps telecom cable pressurized so that water does not get in. It was at a microwave site so I think it was for the cable that goes up the tower. Or maybe the waveguide. The alarm was just a general alarm so it could mean anything, that it failed etc.

True story: Many years ago the phone company did an April fools joke announcement saying they were going to clear all the lines and that everyone should put a bag over their phone so the dust does not go all over their house. Some people actually thought it was true and called in a week later asking if it's safe to take the bag off. lol.

Could do the usual Saturday morning lunch at our fave restaurant because the wife had work related activity to do. Then she texts me she's done around 2PM. I suggest we meet at that very restaurant. I get there about 5 min before her. About two dozen people ahead of me. Our regular waitress was supposed to be out of town. I walk up to put my name on the list and that same waitress pulls me from the crowd and seats me in our regular booth--ahead of two dozen people.

Wife walks in five min later amazed that not only did we get our regular booth during a slammed period of the day but got our fave waitress, too. How can i go on with the rest of the afternoon after this luck?

I never send emails/texts to the wrong recipients. Ever.

I wrote up a long, very personal, private and somewhat embarrassing text to my shrink. And send it to this polyamorous girl I met and started talking to. I was mortified. Of all the fucking texts to finally send to the wrong person it had to be the worst one of all time. No exaggeration. I immediately text to delete that text asap. I guess she is one honest girl because she asked to meet up tonight, albeit briefly.

If someone told me to delete a text immediately it would motivate me even more to read it carefully and analyze it.

The neighbors in the mansion behind my house have lights out front that are too white. I can see the light and the top of the house, and it looks like a municipal building. They need something around 2.2k. That's easier on the eyes, and would go better with the 19th century house.

There's a new trend here in the past few years of people putting these super bright blue HID lights on their cars, freaking hate those, so hard on the eyes. Their low beams are brighter than a standard car's high beams. It's actually really dangerous since it's like a pilot getting lasered when you're driving and a car with those pulls up from the incoming traffic lane. It looks like a continuous electrical arc flash from far coming closer until you're blinded by it. Some will even fit their fog lights with these so it's even worse. They need to make these illegal.

I just checked my bank account and I'm a grand in the hole. What the hell? Too many bills, and they all keep going up. End of month is always a killer as most of the bills come out then, including city taxes, which is a chunk of the pay cheque on it's own. Hopefully next pay I can at least break even.

I keep trying to find places I can cut but there's really not much.

Agreed! I'm photosensitive, it feels like lightening shooting through my brain.

Not my first world problem, I witnessed it.

I was out on my porch having a smoke.

A man walking outside my house dressed to the nines in his cowboy hat and boots and fringe for miles yelling on the phone to someone that he is lost. His fancy footwear conspires to help his body meet the sidewalk in a more intimate fashion as he slips and slides along his way (it's snowing). The Eff bombs get louder and louder with each show-stopping unintentional ice skating attempt (this judge gives him an 8.8, he managed to stay upright). It was 2AM and he seemed perfectly sober and without noticeable mental stunting of any kind.

He was definitely a man thinking that the world is an a**hole but only to him. You can't be dressed that fancy and take being lost (on foot) in stride.

My amusement was too great to feel for the guy, in fact I had to come inside because I could no longer laugh quietly.

Our of our ancient cats pooped on the floor this morning in front of the computer desk. My wife didn't notice it and ran over the poop with the wheely chair.

I think I begin to like Taco Bell $5 box combo more and more. They remove the chicken taco (chicken as the taco cover) and replace with a large item. It was not bad at all and so far, no need for me to run to the restroom, yet.

In the summer of 2012, the trunk lid support pistons on my car both broke. I was also broke, so got the off-brand replacements from O'Reilly, because they were $16 ea. instead of $30 ea. at the dealership for the Ford-branded parts.

I was kind of unhappy with them (not enough pressure/tension) but because I replaced them individually, it was gradual process, and I just got used to having to lift my trunk lid with both hands and occasionally have it fall closed and bonk me on the head when I was loading groceries.

Last month, I found a pair of Ford-branded pistons on Amazon for $17 (for 2!), and bought them, since drinking and Amazon don't help self-control, but do help you remember old resentments.

I installed them today and now am kinda pissed off I didn't spend the extra money four years ago.

I ate too much and now I don't feel good. That stir fry I made was too small, so I needed something extra after, but went a little overboard on the chips and grapes.

It is about 10 p.m. and I do not want to eat late so close to bed time but I am kinda hungry. Guess I will have a few boiled eggs.

I loaded up Pandora for the first time in awhile and saw that they had changed their site. I didn't like it.

I've got dysentery or lupus or something going on here. My stomach sounds like like an old coffee maker.

I keep wanting to work on a project at work (actually kinda work related) but keep getting interrupted by my job!

Had to dial in to two DMS10 switches to clear an alarm! The humanity!

Overslept way too much today and now I'm all screwed up. I set my alarm for 12pm but I don't actually remember it going off. Woke up at like 6pm. Hate when that happens, waste of a day.

Legit issues:
Before kids: "damn hon, we woke at 11am and missed McD's breakfast hours"
After kids: "damn is the sun even up yet, go back to bed guys!!!!"

I was breaking even but after sold my cars, reduced things I didn't need/use, I find that I'm happier because I'm not worrying daily about money and what I should have vs what I do have.
