What first world problem did you have today?

Can't get movie times more than a week in advance. Try calling theater, they tell me to go online. I go online and can only get the times through tomorrow. I haz a sad.
 
I had to wait an extra two minutes while some inconsiderate person wrote a check (yeah, whatever...) for her purchases!
 
POS computer didn't want to throttle the CPU fan again -- did this a month or two ago. CPU cores got up to 81 C, fan speed RPM didn't move, rebooted 3 times and it still didn't work -- had CPUID on in anticipation of this but didn't have a problem in so long that I forgot to actually look for the problem. Had to shut down and turn on again, probably a hardware issue.

Sounds like it's throttling fine, it's just not ramping back up.
 
My cat puked on the couch AGAIN. So now I can't watch TV or play Wii until I can put enough chemicals in it to get the smell out and wait till it all dries. FML.

I had HWMonitor on for a few hours and the min RPM was 0 (PWM?), max RPM was like 1050. Tried loading random things up, RPM didn't change from 1050. On a normal day, like right now, the RPM almost never dips below 1200. I also noticed that TMPIN2 didn't show up under Mainboard when it was fuxxored -- research suggests that that's Tcase for CPU but not sure.

Other problem today: I bought a new wooden spoon. It had a tiny sticker on it saying "Made in China" and it didn't come off cleanly. Spent 10 minutes scrubbing the shit out of it to finally get most of it out. Was it really that important to let me know it was made in China? I would have assumed anyway.

All my wife's cat does is puke on shit.

I cannot wait until the stupid thing dies. It is literally useless.

Mario Maker isn't going anywhere.

I asked Ichinisan why he had pulled all his sheets off the other day and he told me that his car puked on his pillow right in his face while he was asleep.
 
Bank had a three day upgrade. It takes me no more the ten minutes MAX to update my website. Three days? Then I go to login and I can't. Call 'em up and she informs me, "Oh! You have to enter the last six of you social....THEN you enter a new password." She then tells me it can't have any symbols and one capital letter and be no more than seventeen digits long. I'm like you have to be kidding me. I use a password generator called PWDhash so that's out the window. So I had to use Keepass and save my password and back the database up in an encrypted 7Z file to my cloud storage websites. Ugh!

Now I'm trying to deploy a firewall on my site and I keep getting a damn 500. Talking to my host about this and he's clueless. 🙄 Hopefully Ninjafirwall staff can help.

That wooden spoon I bought looks like it has a layer of lacquer on it -- can't tell if it's oil, or a higher quality oil + wax layer since I never do that to my own wood utensils. Really hope it isn't lacquer because the only use for it would be as a 1 foot pole. Not cooking shit with lacquer flaking/leaching off.
 
I'm cutting the cord to ditch the monthly costs associated with cable... and looking to replace it with multiple networked streaming devices, a media server, and monthly subscriptions to streaming apps for the channels we want to keep. And while it may ultimately prove more expensive and more time-consuming, at least we won't be renting a cable box anymore!

Actually, fuck it, maybe I'll just keep cable.

Does your internet connection go through a major Telco?

My internet connection is "third party" but it uses most of the infrastructure built by one of the big 3 telecom companies, and a large portion of my payments go right back to them.

I find cable TV to be the most cost effective service I have... Hours a day, dozens of channels I watch, all for the price of 7-ish movie theater tickets.
 
Bank is really pissing me off. To say I'm livid would be a gross understatement. I want to rip a fucking wall down with my fists!

They changed the damn site and I can't log in. I try to call the bank and there's a recoding of some shit. Can't get through to anyone. Try to use the tele bank BS and my last 7 of the SSN is supposed to be the password? NOPE! They fuck you there too.

Nothing that pisses me off more is when I can't check my funds. 😡 I'm changing banks!
 
Regional. We have Chase in town. My mom uses Chase so I might check them out. I'm still trying to calm down. The damn cats were scared at me yelling at the computer.
