I don't actually mind too much.

If a small increase in price is all that's needed to allow better conditions for animals, so be it.

The race to the bottom in pricing is not a good thing.

It wasn't a "small" increase. That woman who stole eggs for her grandkids to eat is going to have to keep stealing. What is so bad about cages for domesticated animals?

I actually prefer the brown 4G vegetarian eggs over regular ones myself, the wife says they are 2.29 here now, when the regular larges are 2.75 or so.

No hormones, antibiotics, vegetarian fed, and for some reason cheaper than the regulars.

Got me, I've always liked brown eggs, she does too once I got her trying em.

The micro USB port on my full frame camera is being a bitch again. Had it oriented right, made it go in partly, then it got stuck. Feel bad that I tried to jam it in a few times without much success. Think it's an angle thing.

The TV channel on the treadmill I was on would not change channels, so I had to watch the local Buffalo news for 45 minutes and all of the anchors were fat.

god damn moving is expensive.

realtor broker fee: $1800
first month's rent: $1800
security deposit: $2700

$6,300 just to walk in the door D: probably another grand by the time we buy moving supplies, pay for movers, and buy all the new crap we'll inevitably need.

Broker fee? I used a broker to find my place here, but the owner paid him, not me.

it seems standard here that the renter pays the broker fee; gotta actually ask the broker about it on Saturday, but that's the usual practice (typically 1 months rent, but I've seen listings that ask for 15% of the first year's rent).

makes no sense to me -- the owner hired the broker, not us, and all her services are for his benefit (vetting tenants, showing off the apartment, listing the apartment in the MLS, etc), but it is what it is. :/ only real alternative is finding a place that is listed independently (ie: advertised on a sign in a window)

Exactly. Completely ridiculous.

Sorry to hear man; like moving is not expensive and annoying enough!

oil went up 10% this week.
I got stopped out of my short position.
made $25k profit in 3weeks.

today, oil drops 10% in a few hrs.
I got stopped out for nothing.

and I 'm not making any more $ because I no longer have a position.

at least it could have occurred at a worse time.

I just earned $1000 from holiday OT, and I've got another 2-3 days of OT scheduled this month (average of about $300/day after taxes)... if my boyfriend can put together half of that $6300 and the owner can agree to a March 1 move-in date, I think we'll be good.

no way I can put together that cash if he wants to rent it out by Feb 1, though, unless I utterly decimate my 6-month emergency savings.

Got a notice that my internet price was getting jacked up a few bucks a month, so I decided to downgrade from 25/2 to 10/1. I don't even use 50 GB a month on average and don't download much, but still.

Bah, my first net pay of 2015 was $446 lower because of all of the annual contribution amounts starting up again. :\

It's not insanely funny, but I did literally "lol" at this. :awe:

Trying to think of a first world problem I had this morning... can't really think of one though. People that are too stupid or unaware of what's going on to get over to the right lanes are a norm, so I don't count that. Hmmm. I got nothin so far.

Must suck for the poverty crowd in dead end low paying jobs that want to pack up and move to greener pastures. D:

Need to drive back home two hours away from my GF's place to check on my apartment and pick up my paycheck from work, but I'm feeling lazy. This is what vacation does to you, and I still have another week and a half :awe:

Woke up with a bad headache and realized that I didn't have my coffee yesterday.
