I've finally realized that Christmas is closing in fast. Time to put in for vacation time to avoid the company Christmas party?

- Slog through the unofficially mandatory party for about an hour and then get the rest of the day off with pay.

or

- Avoid party, but use up a few hours of United-States-level PTO.

On a battery binge over the past week replacing almost decade old alkalines with NiMH, now looking into maintaining my fleet of Li-ion devices. Wo is me, I must recharge my Li-ion based gadgets that I rarely use to avoid not killing the battery permanently.
 
Had to deal with insane crowds at Costco.

My new $175 winter parka's zipper is jacked up! It was originally a $300 parka sold at Nordstrom. The jacket is made by Timberland. From day one that I wore the jacket the zipper was givinig me problems. I contacted the seller on ebay and he was giving me the run around saying it was new and all this which it was with the tags attached, but my comments finally got through and I told him I liked the jacket a lot and might see if I can get a metal zipper sewn in, but wasn't sure if this small ass town had a place to do it without traveling 15 damn miles to the town north to do it. He offered a $50 refund to do it. Pain in the damn ass really. I was trying to find a new jacket, but I require a 3x and trying to find a nice winter parka with a fur hood is like pulling teeth from a rabid skunk! And I'm not paying over $250 for a fucking jacket! Now all I have to wear is a damn fall jacket and it's been in the single digits with this pile of crap polar vortex. Bastard all any way! 😡

Drove the wife/kid to the Atl airport. They'll be gone for 10 days. Amazon has back ordered the stripper pole and Vietnam ran out of temporary wives. WTH?



Allisolm should probably give me a 10 day vacation before I earn one.
