I had to wait in line at the DMV for an additional 5 minutes because the 4 morons in front of me were too stupid to realize that visions tests or no tests only apply for license renewals at express service locations.
Maybe read the letter from the secretary of state on what facilities are available.
Need to take a written exam or a behind the wheel? Go to a full service facility.

they were out of chicken chili at the lunch truck I go to, so I had to get chicken and dumpling instead.

stupid conference call made me late for lunch  I'm tired and sick and all I really wanted was a bowl of spicy chili to clear my sinuses. :'(

Running late because I had a tire blow out: now I'm going to have to get gelato some other time.

Going to have to hand over $61 for my dry cleaning (which includes some 20 shirts, half a dozen pants and 2 suits).

Ate lunch before a long meeting that started at 12. Pizza was provided at said meeting, so I had to eat two lunches or risk looking rude.

I'm having the worst stress about what to have for dinner tonight.

tired and sick and I still have to rush home to walk the dog + do laundry, so there's no way I'm cooking... debating between Wendy's chicken nuggets, something buffalo chicken-y takeout from a diner, or just going to Dunkins for a breakfast sandwich w/ iced coffee.

or just go home and take 30 seconds to heat up a can of soup.

That's just time management.

One could easily start to cook something while walking the dog or doing laundry.

There is a convenience though with take out food :)

cooking would also require shopping, though, which would be more time-consuming than takeout or drive-thu... house sitting for my parents this week and their fridge is pretty much empty. ><

(also means I'm too far away for any of my favorite delivery places, because otherwise I'd just order Chinese... I need something spicy for my stupid sinuses)

Time Management again. Don't you have pantry/closet/cabinet space.

Fuck last ditch effort, peanut butter, jelly and bread. Toast it if you have time :)

or my mainstay with kids, some microwave burritos/chimichangas/taquitos.

It's at the hotel so it depends on how open my wallet is and if the wife's attention is diverted after my umpteenth trip.:p

$175 seems excessive for a tux rental for a wedding. Did you ask the bridal party if they have a preferred vendor?

In S.C. $150 seems really high for a wedding booking as well especially this time of year.

Looks like my sirius XM renewal may not allow me to get a promotional rate this time, in which I'll have to drop them (no way I'm paying $15/month for sat radio, who are they kidding).

fought with, and lost to, automatic paragraph numbering.

about to fight the double-whammy of standard time traffic (no idea why, but it's worse than daylight time traffic) and drizzle traffic. D:

Men's Warehouse. My kid got one for cotillion and it was over $100 through a friend of mine.

I've paid a ton over the years for tuxes. Too bad the brides can't pick a common one and I could just buy 1 nice one.

Embassy suits in Greenville...I could have saved $20 if I booked by 10/15...Yes, it's a lot of $$ especially when I already have a house. ;) Just wasn't really an option. The reception starts at 7:30 and it's 2.5 hrs away.

The upside is that this guy has been at the top, crashed very badly, recovered and is happy. I've known him for 35+ years.

My new full-frame camera doesn't do 720p:(. Now I'll have to record in 1080p and down-convert it to 480p... Net result is it will take longer to transfer from memory card to computer.

Just rented our tuxes from MW as well. $180 a pop for the one that doesn't look like it's from the 80's. JFC tux rentals are expensive.

There's a small stack of burned dvd +Rs on my front-left home theater speaker. I can't throw them away because there might be something I'd miss on one of them. I forgot to label them, so I'd have to actually put them in my pc to see what's on them before I can do anything else. That means I'd have to get out of this comfy recliner. I think I'll watch a movie and think about it for a bit first. I was really hoping to not think about anything this evening. Damn life sucks.

The SD memory card would go smoothly into my new Sony camera -- first Sony product with memory port ever. I was careful to match the grooves on the camera to the socket, but it kept getting caught on one side. Was just about to force it in before flipping it over and feeling little resistance... Did skim over that part of the manual, didn't bother to look at the symbol on the edge of the socket showing the groove.

Turns out the camera supports "Memory Stick"... Completely forgot this proprietary Sony memory thing existed, probably why the different groove. Almost fuxxored new camera.
