I have a couple of small steel safes and I need to reset the combinations after changing the batteries. The problem is that the instructions I found on youtube don't seem to work for my safe. It says to press the reset button, enter the new code and press the 'A' button. Thats in the same place as the * key on a phone. But I remember something about pressing the #/B key instead. I've tried it both ways and neither seems to work. So now I have to try to find the destruction manual for it which is buried somewhere in one of my file cabinets. That could take decades to find.

Plus one of the safes dropped one of the studs that allows the door to pivot. So I had to go full redneck on it's a** and use tape to hold it in place. Not duct tape though, so maybe not FULL redneck.

Rainy,windy,disgusting Portland,OR weather.

It's not fun out there.

About the same here. For the last few days, it was raining (not hard, just steady) and then misty and dark and wet. At least it was not freezing cold for black ice.

I took pure mdma yesterday.twice.Not used to it,it was embarrassing(i take e every now and then) but this shit was something else, apart from showing me how shit the e i have been taking these past 15 years was I need to slow down a bit.I have been drinkiing strong drink and smoking strong dope to counteract its effect.Yes im getting old.

Yeah, you're lucky the stuff the vast majority of people get/sell is a research chemical, not even real MDMA, and if it is it's usually weak as shit. Get yourself a Marquis regent testing kit, pretty cheap and leaves no doubts as to what you are putting into your body.

Bonus problem...

I can't give money away. I have $22.22 remaining balance on a prepaid card, and I've tried giving it to InternetArchive, and a local classical music station. It either silently fails, or gets declined. Maybe one of the transactions went through, and the site hasn't updated yet? Who the fuck knows?! :^S
Checked the balance today $0. Looks like the classical station was the big winner. I can now trash this card, and don't have to worry about it. Still need to make some more donations, so I'll get another card later this week. I also want to make a cash donation to the local spca.

Four high school kids interviewed me concerning my career and career preparation. I had to suppress eleventy billion different "dad lectures." :( It was really good stuff too, I'm positive.

By the way they looked everywhere but at me, I could tell I hit pay dirt when I mentioned that writing well was essential to career advancement. So I ground that one home suggesting that they really put effort into essay assignments. I thought one girl was going to puke. :D

They'll be glad you did that, but probably not until after you're dead.

I just got my new passport in the mail, I don't travel much and have no real intention to but still good to have. I originally got my picture taken for it in summer but procrastinated filling out the form till like November. I now regret not getting a new pic taken so that I have a beard in the picture.

Was it your first passport or renewal? How much for a new one and renewal? How long did it take?

I renewed mine recently and it was $110 USD and it took less than 2 weeks. I think a brand new one is $135 USD.

Spent $350 doing a blind tasting of various wings and pizza dough/sauce. The tasters chose the ones we're already using.

Was a renewal, can't recall how much it cost, like $100 and something if I recall... Kind of a pita to do as you need to go to only a few select places to get picture, then you need to get 2 people that are not family to sign etc... and other steps. So I kept procrastinating. Was expiring this month so I did it just in time. Well think you have up to 1 year to do it but I did not want to chance it.

Takes a couple weeks but there is an option for rush, like if you're planing on traveling.

Repairing holes in the wall from removing drywall anchors is a worthy thing to do.

But never ask "how much dust could it possibly be?" when sanding "small" patches. Because you will find out.

In retrospect, it is much easier to get out the vacuum and hook it up to your sander than it is to vacuum the entire second floor of the house after the dust settles.

Lol yeah it's crazy the amount of dust even a bit of drywall will do.

Will be interesting when I do my server room. ill probably have to tape pieces of paper in front of the servers to block fans and just monitor temperatures.

Here in the US, you can go almost anywhere to get a picture taken, as long as they know how to do "passport portrait" style. We also do not need to have any character witness or anything else unless you change your name or anything major about you, then you will have to provide extra paperwork to prove who you really are/were.

No wonder Canadians are polite - if they piss off enough people, they can't prove they're Canadian anymore.
