do any of your cameras have mic inputs? I would think any medium quality camera designed for video would have them.

what kinds of vids are you making. If you don't need to synch video and sound, are these game videos, tutorials or something like that?

My full-frame has a hot shoe, and might have 3.5mm inputs, same for super zoom. However, first thing I usually do when editing is delete the audio track because of the background noise. I'm thinking of getting a recorder/mic for overdubbing or narration. That's extra work though... and just sticking with no audio is so much easier. And I hate my voice.

I'm trying to order toilet paper online but have to manually figure out how many sheets I get. You don't standardize the size of a roll, stop telling me how many "rolls" it's equivalent too!

It is raining lightly and cold here. What a bummer weather for a weekend. No mood to go out.

I found a stash of old, used batteries. Now I have to walk to Best Buy to dump them off. But first, I have to re-sort them slightly because the bag's too big to go through the chute at the store.

"Make a strong password," they say.

Fine. Suck my extended ASCII.

Internal admin screen: "Strong password! 100/100! Awesome! Password set."

Web interface to get back in: "Oh god, there's ASCII above 0x7F?!? I'm gonna puke! Access denied!"

*sigh*

Good job.

I've had that problem with a simple hyphen. I could set my password but I couldn't use the password.

Someone at work drank the last Fresca in the fridge and didn't put one of the cases in afterwards so I was forced to drink a Diet Pepsi.

My task bar just started jibbing out as soon as it hit midnight and now my clock/date is too small and everything is jumbled together. Linux is so flaky sometimes. I really don't want to reboot, I have too much crap open.

I don't understand why you have so many problems. Have you updated without restarting lately? Sometimes you need to reboot, or at least restart X. Otherwise you can get erratic behavior. You should make a reboot day. Pick a day, update, then restart the machine.

It is still cloudy and raining softly on and off, again. We haven't seen the sun for about a week around here. The rivers and creeks are creeping higher. People live in the low land area is nervous.

Had a hell of a time choosing what Smartphone to order. In the end I picked an older model Samsung S4 over the Moto G 3rd Gen and saved some $$$ because I'm flat ass broke. And yet I still have Christmas shopping to do. Damn I hate this bloody month!

Good thing the Samy was on a Cyber Monday sale. I would NEVER pay over $100 for a 2 year old phone. Went with Cricket and I like AT&T's coverage! $35/month and 2.5GB/month too versus Virgin Mobile's 1GB/month.

One bad thing about Cricket is that they bloody charge you $10/month just to tether using YOUR freaking data allotment you already pay for! Not only that, but you have to have the $50/month plan just to get that option.

Got a nice cold shower today. Water heater broke since morning. Last /service/ date was 1977. Hard to complain about that I guess. Hope I can get it fixed quickly, or I'll be bathing Amish style, and heating water on the stove for a bath.

TSH and other thyroid assays showing imprecision in the QC. Can't figure out why. All the diagnostics pass with flying colors. Same reagent, calibrators and QC running just fine on the machine next to it. Fucking gremlins.

Damn. What kind of water heater lasts 40 years. That's crazy. I have to replace my electric heater every 5 or so years.

It's a Carrier, installed by Sears. Dunno what to get now. Past performance of good American manufacture doesn't really carry to 2015. I'll ask a couple guys at work, and spend my rain day water heater shopping.
