Forgot to turn my phone off and I slept with it inside my bag... 1' from my head with a mattress between both. Am I dun gone get the brain cancer?

Yes.

I often sleep with it under my pillow if I don't have a better place to put it. IDGAF

Did you get any calls? The extra exposure from even a short call is probably more than your exposure all night while it's standing by.

My right click mouse button stopped working. Opened up my mouse to diagnose and it seems like the switch itself is busted internally. It 'clicks' just fine and there's no visible damage to the soldering. :(

Very true about the call thing, even a text. I measured it with my RF meter -- I'm totally not paranoid.

I just learned my insurance has a program that will reimburse me $20 a month if I go to the gym 3 times a week and now I have to switch to a participating gym.

Fixed my "32 CRT TV, I just can't stand the thought of giving something I paid $400 for a trip to the landfill, it works great IMO, fuck it, I'm keeping it until it's tube goes soft.

It's been six months again. It must be because someone is talking about how he's buying two pairs of shoes. For some reason, his work union negotiated an allowance of something like two pairs of shoes every 6 months... so this guy and his wife go buy 2 pairs of shoes, each, every 6 months, even if their shoes from 6 months prior are perfectly good. Note that we're not talking about protective shoes either, just any shoes they want.

I had a one pair a year allowance at an old job. Over five years, I bought one pair even though I fell into a lake with it and humped through wet, rough terrain multiple times. They still worked. Well, I'm a fucking idiot for not using my benefits to the max.

Wow. I could work there five years and have a lifetime supply of shoes. It takes 6 months to get shoes broken in and comfortable.

Putting aside that they work for a public entity and my taxes help pay for it, it's just so wasteful. I wear my shoes for at least 2 years unless they don't fit properly, or actually wear out or break which is rare -- and because I have so few shoes, they wear out quicker since they're worn more. But seriously, why am I chipping in to feed your shoe fetish/obsession?

Steel toes, I could understand more.

I got up at 10AM today after sleeping 11 hours. I then spent from Noon to 6PM at hooters, eating and drinking [and ogling the young girls], and now I'm tired again.

What an exhausting day!

They don't tailor it for you, or at least offer? You've got to get it tailored if it's going to look sharp.

They did, and what came in didn't match the measurements; not sure why. They measured a second time when the suit didn't match, numbers matched the first measurement.

Then they measured the suit: the suit that came back didn't match.

Didn't want to pay full price for Battlefront so I didn't.

But I was unable to get my Target Redcard to activate properly in time, costing me a potential extra 5% in savings. :'(

Bastards.

Wife asked me to hang a flushmount crystal chandelier. Got the mounting bracket up but the damn downward screws aren't long enough to screw into the flushmount. Pricks.

stressing about the amount of shit I have to do before Thanksgiving, but I'm trying to purposefully put it off until tomorrow so that I have an excuse to be out of the house when the cleaning lady's here.

Switched back to the original NES 72-pin connector because the $12 replacement was garbage and barely worked at all.

With the original connector, I have to tweak the game slightly so it will work.

I know the feeling, I've had my old tube in my shop for ages waiting to be built into a DIY arcade cabinet. I was scanning Black Friday deals and you can get a 50" LED screen for $299 this year...just bananas...
