Oh ya, I discovered short-throw projectors. What is this poverty shit regular throw projectors that are commonplace everywhere...

There's a big sale for stainless steel fry pans, one day only, at Best Buy of all places but I'm already at this month's budget! I can more than afford it, and there's no way I'd be able to get it this cheap until the next random sale, but the budget! Fuq.

Found a great app, but it requires Android 5+. I didn't want to upgrade from KiKat, but this has me tempted. Deal with Lollipop, and get a great GNU/Linux environment, or no GNU, but have the great KitKat. Decisions, decisions...

While getting a brand new window and patio door professionally installed, it was getting cold in the house. Took about an hour of running the furnace to bring the temp back up to a comfortable level.

I've lost all, well, most respect.

I may still have a 98 machine to run your surveying software.

:^D

I have no shortage of old machines. Win98 was a twinkle in Gates' eye when most of my software was released, and GNU still didn't have a kernel :^D

The credit card machine wasn't working and they didn't give me a receipt for my meal so I have no idea if my gift card was charged or not.

It's 1AM and all I can think about is "DID I GET IT FOR FREE OR NOT?!"

My Amazon package was supposed to have shipped Monday... but I looked up the tracking and it got scanned back at the depot AFTER being "out for delivery."

Redoing my USB key backup... what a piece of shit. It's USB 2.0 and 32 GB but averages less than 10 MB/s transfer. Deleting about 30 GB itself took more than 10 minutes.

Had 26,000 lbs of cable delivered to a site today (2 reels @ 13,000lbs/reel). Came 4 days earlier than what the manufacturer told me. We didn't have any crane at the site to offload it, so I had to rent a crane last minute for tomorrow morning. I told this to the truck driver and he was not pleased when he realized he had to stay the night - he had planned to drop it off and keep on moving to his next stop in MA. Tomorrow morning will be fun when I head out there and this guy wants to snap my neck.

My goddamn CFL floor lamp just shit the bed.

The problem is,it uses a non-standard flat 4-pin bulb.(so I can't replace the bulb with a normal LED bulb.)

FUCK MY LIFE.

Exactly why I stay away from all fixtures that don't use E26 bases...

My own: I feel bad for buying rice online. Don't have to hump 15-ish lb sacks home anymore (or drive) but am I overworking the delivery guy? I'd feel better if I could tip him but no signature required so it's a drop and run.

Some completely intellectually disabled person decided to put a package of food, double-wrapped in plastic, into an empty stainless steel stock pot. Same fucking idiot decided to put the stock pot on top of an un-insulated toaster oven for storage -- this person bought the toaster and has used it for years. Lo and behold, the plastic melted into the pot.

Everyone assumed the pot was empty, or at least not filled with plastic, and used the toaster oven a bunch of times. Yay, that means everyone's been sniffing toxic fumes from melting/burning plastic over the past week or more. All because some fuck-wit couldn't put a small package of food in one of 20 unheated cabinets or shelves, or any other of the thousands of places possible.

Had to eat my yogurt with a fork this morning because all my spoons were in the (running) dishwasher.

The wife and I are about on the verge of strangling each other.

Just one of those things I guess, happens now and then.
