What firmware should I use for a WRT54G router?

Hmm...I haven't had any problems. I have noticed it requires a lot of hard reboots (unplug the power cable and wait 5 sec) when making some changes, but it's not that bad. Once it's setup, it's like a rock. I think it's worth the minor additional bit of time for the features and abilities you acquire through the upgrade.

Go to that thread...guy there setup two WRT54Gs using WDS. If you need more help/questions on the actual setup, I think he'd be a good reference to start with. In the first post, he also has a couple URLs that he used to set it up properly.
