What finger do you scroll with?

Inspired by this thread. Those of you who use your index finger .. don't you have to take it off the button to do that? I use my index for the first button, middle finger for the scroll, and ring finger for the 2nd button.

Well it's nice to be able to use all three buttons simultaneously. In UT2k3 for example (scroll changes weapon, buttons fire)

Fine .. but all those milliseconds add up. You are wasting seconds .. even minutes of your life switching between buttons!

I'm not good enough to hit buttons while I'm scrolling..am I out of practice? 😉

No but I can start scrolling right when I think about it and it takes you a split second to start scrolling. So I arrive and can start hitting other buttons a split second before you. 😉 Fine maybe it isn't that much of an advantage but that's just the way I do it.

Agreed. I just move the middle finger over to the right button if I need it.

grew up using two fingers on the mouse with the other three off on the side. i use the index finger.

three fingers on the top of the mouse just feels weird
