I have a polarizer and a UV filter.

I thought I wanted a UV filter to protect the front of my L glass but bought the wrong size (72mm not 77mm :\)

UV
52mm hoya super hmc pro1 uv (0) japan
58mm tiffen haze-1 USA
52mm canon uv haze philippines

Polarizer
52mm moose's warm PL Cir. Japan

i was thinking of getting a marumi 77mm DHG UV filter (for Tamron 10-24) and a B+W 58mm clear UV haze single coated (i think the tiffen noticeably effects color and i have 2 lenses in 58mm anyway) as protective filters, but meh.

I have a 77mm UV filter which 99% of the time stays on a shelf. I dont believe in 'protection' filters almost all the time ( sea spray/sand etc aside).

Other filters I have (and use, boatloads of others)
85mm cokin P style
Hitech 1,2,3 stop ND
Hitech 1,2,3 stop soft ND grad
Hitech 1,2,3 stop hard ND grad
Hitech 2 stop reverse ND grad
Hitech 10 stop ND
100mm hitech ND 1,2,3 stop
Cokin 82mm Circular polariser.

Will probably step up 100mm filters all round soon.

77mm multicoated CPL, several cheap 77mm UV filters. The UV filters are only used in inclement weather conditions or when I'm not using a lens hood.

Also have a few Hi-tech soft and hard ND grads for my Cokin P-series holder.

Tiffen 2-stop soft grad ND filter.

Thinking about getting a circular polarizer, but that's about all. I don't need any clear or UV filters.

I have UV, circular polarizers, center spot, soft focus (coloured, and non coloured), star, cross, nebula, close up (+1, +2, +4), colour gradients (red, blue, brown, grey), and colour contrast (yellow, orange, red, green, light blue, dark blue). (All are Hoya or Stiffen)

Roughly 30 filters for all of my lenses and flashes. UV, polarizer, and nebula filters get the most use.

i have a marumi 77mm thin glass CPL, and a B+W #110 coming... and some tiffen UV. all 77mm.

I want the 16-35 f/2.8L II, but with rumors of the 14-24 to combat nikon's legend... makes me wanna wait. Then there's the 35 f/1.4L II... makes me wanna wait for that too... damn... so many lens... so little time... i want:

135 f/2.0L
100 f/2.8L Macro
85 f/1.2L
24 f/1.4L II
17 f/4 TSE
and the 21mm Distagon-T f/2.8
35mm f/1.4L if that ever comes out.
> 8k in lens...

Then imma switch to the nikon system again :)
