I am more inspired by real life events. Kimi Raikkonen's win at Suzuka last year from starting almost dead last, Lance Armstrong beating cancer and coming back to win 7 Tours de France, Floyd Landis coming back in stage 17 from an 8 minute deficit to get within 30 seconds of the yellow jersey and then take the yellow jersey, assuring his first Tour win while riding with a bad hip (he needs hip replacement surgery and will likely never be in contention to win this race again).

Those kind of things inspire me.
