Im trying to figure out how to copy all the files for yahoo messenger into one folder, and then load that folder onto a thumb drive, so I can take it places, and use it on the school computers, which dont allow yahoo to be installed.
But.. copying the program files folder isnt good enough. What else do I need to copy over in order to make this work? I think I can write files to any folder on the hard drive (incase I need to move dlls into a system folder or something) but I just cant write over anything, nor install programs the traditional way.
I've already copied AIM and MSN onto my thumb drive, but I cant figure out how yahoo works. Is there a program which could tell me where all that gets installed to when I install yahoo?
