i need to know what fan is good i see alot of review that is hiper212 evo is good and i have zalman performa CNP 10 in most review i see hiper evo have 4/5 c low then zalamn performa so is any one her have the zalamn performa then he tried the hiper212 evo cuz i need to know is real or fake that is hiper stronger then zalamn .

Good question. I will be testing that out tonight.

If you were looking at the review over at Hardware Secrets, don't go by that. It shows the EVO outperforming a Noctua D14!!!

i didnt see in new review the 2 of them side buy side so i ask her if any one have test 2 model zalamn performa and hiper 212 and thx bro for u r attention

That was hard to read but I'll try to answer.

I own both the Hyper 212 EVO and the Zalman CNPS10X Performa. The Zalman is bigger than the Hyper.

On my i7-2600k The Zalman with the fan resistor attached (1350 RPM) is quieter and performs about the same as the Hyper at full speed (1850 RPM).

If I remove the resistor on the Zalman, it performs about 5c cooler than the Hyper at about the same fan speed and decibels.

YMMV!

Yeah, the Zalman seems to be a very nice heatsink. JonBlack, how quiet is the fan on the Zalman with the resistor?

I like it a lot and I'm overly sensitive to high speed and loud fans on my PC. I have my desktop PC sitting on my desk near my right ear and the Zalman is fairly quiet with the resistor attached. I can notice the fan at full RPM's with the resistor (1350 RPM). But it's the highest spinning fan in my PC and I think it's still very quiet. My wife thinks I'm crazy but it's rather she's deaf. :sneaky:

After reading so much hype about the Hyper 212 series I figured I was missing something, especially with its direct touch heatpipes. It's a nice cooler and great for the price but the Zalman Performa is just better but usually more expensive.

I'm probably going to swap the fan out on the Hyper 212 EVO and place it on my wife's i5-2400. She doesn't push her PC like I do (overclocked and encoding) and the lower fan speed should be able to keep her i5-2400 cool yet quiet.

1-You mean that 2 fan the same performance in case of zalman with resistor 1350 is good like hiper212 no difrent at all no 2/3c for hiper ? like i see in hardware secrets 😀

2-zalman with resistor is 17~24dBA ±10% and hiper212 evo in full 1850/2000 9 - 36dBA and u say hiper 1850 like zalman 1350 is hiper verey quieter no sound i thienk zalman more quiet i have last year hiper212 + zalam is quite for it .

sorry for tall ask but in end do u say no performance more in 212 evo then zalman i have an amd platforme and that is my pc pic i was ask i have zalamn already should i go to hiper 212 evo or the tow same performance .

I'd go with the Zalman personally.

Guys, looking at the OPs screenshot of his rig, everest is reporting in another language. I cannot tell which (maybe arabic or something) but it's clear to me that english is not his first language. Might even be typing through a translator of some sort.

what is wrong with that yes everst is arabic iam frome egypt is that problem her ? and what bad if i use translator of some sort as u say to help me if i cant explain everything
all i need some real result not just review maybe real or fake in other sites.
i come her cuz i know thies site have alot of best member in all PC hardware .

nothing wrong, just stating a fact that someone above didn't see. Guy asked you to use better grammar, I was just saying that you were doing your best is all. We have readers here from all over the world. Don't worry.

nothing wrong with using a translator.

Back to your question I have a I5 2500k and the hyper 212 evo it keeps my i5 under 70c at 100% load. Overclocked to 4.2 GHz

It has a quiet fan and here in the USA I got it for $29.99 USD on sale. I like it for the price> I can't help you with the Zalman never used it.

zalam btter imoh
thats who mean with grammer
lol

Hey Op, can you please write with a little bit better grammer?
he wasnt mean me at all
and its fine i love talk with friend in all the world so any one ther test the 2 fan and tell me 212 evo or zalman performa and i have it is realy ther mor cool with hiper 3/4 or just fake and stay with zalamn its no need the 2 is the same

What you got is probably good enough. Only thing you could do to better it is to go expensive with maybe a Noctua NH-D14.

This is my experience using both on an i7-2600k.

1) Yes the Zalman spinning at 1350 RPM cools as well as the Hyper EVO at full speed (1950 RPM). If you don't use the resistor the Zalman's fan spins up to around 1850, then the Zalman cools better than the Hyper EVO.

2) The Zalman with the resistor at full speed is a lot quieter than the Hyper EVO at full speed. If I use the Zalman without the resistor they are about equal in loudness to me (which means it annoys me).

3) If you have the Zalman already, keep it and reuse it. You will get nothing extra in getting the Hyper EVO.

Yeah, sorry for trolling OP 😛 Welcome to the forums! I like it when we get many nationalities (I'm from Serbia).

About the cooler: yeah, EVO is good, but you will gain nothing upgrading to it from the Zalman. So my statement stays: zalam better imho!

Yeah, I'm sorry, we get a lot of trolls so it was hard to tell.

Hyper 212 will be good to 4.2 ghz. Make it push pull ans maybe you'll be able to go 4.5

Well, I still don't know why he's putting this ridiculously large font. And I guess the errors are mostly because Arabic doesn't have short vowels so certain names might be "voweled" wrong when using translate (hence the "zalam" instead of zalman).

zalam!!!

Well, I still don't know why he's putting this ridiculously large font.

It's due to the "copy and paste" effect. When you copy text from another web site (such as the OP's language translator), and paste into this forum's posting box, the font size magically increases several font sizes.
It's kind of annoying.
One cure is: to first paste the copied text into Notepad, then re-copy what's in Notepad, and finally paste into the forum posting box.

i have last year hiper 212+ not evo zalamn is more cooler and quiet
but thies year i read about 212 evo and see it some time more then 10c of old hiper 212+ and some review 5 c more then zlaman so i ask all user who get the 2 fan i know 2 is verey good and i wanna know if ther r realy more prerformane for evo 212 and i see no frome who use the two model evo+ zalamn performa
