I'm going to be ordering this chip pretty soon and my only concern is sound. I want the quietest cpu fan available. I will not be overclocking, so doesn't have to be any supercooling going on.

What do you guys/gals suggest?

I have the same chip together with a Zalman CNPS 7000-AL CU and I am very pleased. With the 92mm fan at about 2000rpm you can barely hear it, and it keeps my cpu in the 35-50 degree Celcius range.

I have this one as well, but I had to bump the voltage on my overclock so temps are higher. 38idle, 58load.

anyways, get that one or the all copper version or the slk-900 and get a large quiet fan.

No overclocking = stock HSF unit. They work fine and they arent loud, if you do get a different one you can always get any fan you like and use a Zalam fan mate to adjust the speed to the noise you like.

Those things run about 7 bucks.
