What factors contribute to different handwriting styles?

We all go the same schools and trace/copy the same letters, yet human beings' handwriting styles are so different. What are some things that cause this to happen?

yeah, that's like saying a lot of us have cars, why do we pick different ones and drive them differently person to person?
