Speaking of candies - those in sp3 look ~ the same to me as those in sp2

I don't know what you were expecting but SP3 is just an update roll-up. There will be no SP2 like changes or additional features, which were more to do with demand than anything else, especially with Vista being the primary focus at the moment.

And, just in case you aren't aware of it, XP SP3 has not been released to the public yet. What you are installing is likely a "Release Candidate", which is still being tested.
