i mean, there's so many, but all of them only have one active ingredient.

flouride, cavity protection, tarter protection, foaming bubbles, baking soda, 24 hr protection, whitening, ultra whitening, ultra extreme whitening GTR s-class rally version.

i mean, is it mutually exclusive? getting a tarter protection toothpaste will not protect against cavities or something? wth?

From what I heard from dental students, they say that their professors and such tell them to either use Colgate Total or Crest Pro-Health because they both offer the most "features" that you need/want. So, I use Crest Pro-Health night because the normal one tastes like shit.

Also, I like aquafresh. The one that comes in that shiny silver packaging.

All in all, brushing your teeth regularly >> tooth paste choice.

Tom's of Maine is the best. No artificial sweeteners, so it doesn't leave a crappy taste in your mouth. I recommend the GingerMint, and the Fennel :^)

I have to agree with you. It's unfortunate that most other toothpastes have to contain something like sodium saccharin.

I still like the baking soda toothpastes. They feel weird when you brush with them, but afterwards you have a nice, polished shine.

I keep baking soda in a squeeze bottle next to the sink, and I'll put the toothpaste on my brush, then add extra baking soda to the top of the toothpaste. I find the coverage is better with this method, as the foam carries it around your mouth.

They tingle differently when they accidentally fall on your peen in the shower. Red toothpastes are a bitch. 😱

my combo: arm hammer baking soda, then use listerine paste to add the finishing touch

your teeth and breath will call on the good side after flossing and you will not need listerine juice

if you're hardcore, use arm hammer teeth whitening gel on top of the baking soda paste and you just might be happy...

finishing kill is the listerine paste, use in light quantities because excess will destroy your gums
