What EXACTLY is the deal EA Games and NVIDIA have ?

All Ive heard so far is something along the lines of...

It just insures that select EA titles will look and play their best on Nvidia hardware.

What titles?

What "features" will these titles have that will only be on Nvidia hardware?

Should this be a consideration on a future video card purchase?

All ive seen is what Little Maximum Pc had in this months issue.

So links to more in depth info would be great!

the will be more optimized to run on nvidia hardware. probably run SLIGHTLY faster becuase developers are using nvidia quadro cards to write teh games on. proprietary features of the cinefix engine MIGHT be used, some of those might have to be emulated on a radeon. but i think most of it is just plain old MARKETING

Look at the games that EA create.

Never ending sports titles: No thanks
Never ending sims add ons: No thanks
Never ending war titles: Battlefield/medal of honour + add on + add on + add on.
Harry poter: No thanks
And many other pieces o poop.

Who cares if they are suckin on nvidias schlong? your not going to be buying from them anyway.

Well, I think that Nvidia sends some of their men to make sure it works as well as possible with their cards, but I think its mainly marketing to have an Nvidia sign at the beginning. The developers still have to make sure it runs well with ATI cards because otherwisethey're losing a ton of profit...

probably the bulk of EAs customers run Intel Graphics:disgust:

NVidia provides EA with NV graphics cards. Nothing more, the reason they will be optimized more for NV cards is because that is what they are using.

Gary Shandling you forgot a title:

F1 Challenge...the absolute best sim racing game ever made. Even surpasses Indycar Racing 2 (by Papy)
