Since the wealthy have benefited so much from the class warfare that the government and businesses have waged against the lower classes--foreign outsourcing, illegal immigration and mass legal immigration, and displacing Americans from otherwise middle class 1jobs through the use of H-1B and L-1 visas, might redistributing some of the wealth back to the people who should probably, rightfully have it be so awful?

In a very famous novel, after stalking industrialist Hank Rearden in the middle of the night, not to rob him, but just to talk to him and to offer him a bar of gold, the pirate Ragnar Danneskjold extended the bar of gold to him and said "It's not stolen Mr. Rearden, it's yours."

You can blame your democratic congress members for most of that. They are the ones who block cracking down on illegals.

We will see what taxing those evil small business owners get this country in return. We will see what taxing the hell out of evil big business will get this country in return. I see double digit unemployment under Obama/Pelosi/Reid. It will be worse because Obama will spend billions to provide government jobs to people to try and make up the difference in job losses.

You know, all Obama is talking about doing is letting the Bush tax breaks for those that make over 250k expire right? So this will put it back to the way it was in the Clinton years... Remember, the prospering economy, before Bush ruined us?

Lower tax rate has always led to the growth of economy as peopel can spend more money to goods instead of income tax. 50% of the population don;t even pay income tax. However, what peopel don't realize is that money spend on goods are taxed as well, which would in turn bring more money to the government.

Change? Change what?

What higher tax rate? Who is proposing raising my taxes?

The ole "Laffer" curve in action, but some believe if you keep cutting taxes even down to zero, you'll keep getting rising taxes from the extra growth.

Piss down economics isn't working and has now started to turn to "pissed on" economics for the middle class.
