Once i heard about ATI's SurroundView it definately peaked my interest into maybe getting the next gen ATi card...
does anyone know anything at all about what the SurroundView is?
from ATI's FAQ
Quote:
11. Can I use the CrossFire platform to drive multiple displays?
A. Yes, the CrossFire platform will work with ATI?s SurroundView? multi-monitor technology to enable up to 5 separate displays.
ok so what exactly does it entail?
can i use a single R520 to run 3 monitor gaming? (is this managed similar to the Matrox solution?)
or is it just simply similar to Nview where you take multiple video cards and can expand your desktop (but ultimately can only game spanning 2 monitors)..
if it is indeed a 3monitor gaming solution then sign me up..
information has been sketchy at best so if anyone has any info please share..
